What is Gimi?
Gimi.co.uk is a website for 13 - 19 year olds living in North Yorkshire. On gimi you can find information about things to do in your area, from sport to music gigs to workshops to festivals and much much more.
You can also get free email and SMS text reminders about events you are interested in. Just click the "Subscribe to this page" link at the bottom of an event page and it will remind you.
Also on Gimi you can find loads of information on stuff like University choices, health and bullying. You can customise your 'drag and drop' homepage - add gadgets that you like, such as iTunes and Youtube.

Advertise your events
Advertising events for young people on Gimi.co.uk is free. Events can be submitted by logging in and using the "Add Event" link on the bottom left of the page. All events will be approved by a moderator prior to being published on Gimi.co.uk

Boring bit
Gimi is funded through the government agenda on publicising positive activities. Gimi is operated by North Yorkshire County Council in collaboration with many different agencies across North Yorkshire.
The primary function of Gimi is to provide young people with information about positive activities happening in their area and across North Yorkshire. In addition Gimi provides information on a wide range of topics and issues such as education and personal development.
